Victor Lourenco

We are fortunate our team includes physicians who have a superb track record for providing multidisciplinary medical care, with equality and empathy for all. This certainly includes our associate Dr Victor Lourenço.

Dr Lourenço is a GP, but also a Family Doctor, who worked in various clinics, emergency home visits, primary care emergency and paediatric emergency at Funchal Hospital, while based at various medical practices in Madeira. Born in, Massachusetts USA, Dr Lourenço was then raised and educated in Portugal. He gained his medical qualifications at Universidade Nova de Lisboa. Not surprisingly, he is fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish.

It’s important to note that he gained UK medical accreditations and memberships too. That’s because, after some years of gaining experience in a diverse range of Portuguese medical practices and situations, Dr Lourenço chose to relocate to London.

Apart from a period of time as a GP in Gibraltar Health Centre, since 2014 Dr Lourenço has been a highly respected member of the private medical community in the UK.

Dr Lourenço is passionate about the right that everyone has to benefit from high standards of medical diagnosis, treatment and care. So, among his speciality endeavours are delivering medical support to multicultural communities in London, and fulfilling a vital medical support role for HM Prison Stoke Heath.

As he is a GP who believes in providing ‘people-centred’ medical care, Dr Lourenço invests time in offering a holistic and empathetic approach. You will find Dr Lourenço an easy-going, caring and insightful general practitioner, which is why we are delighted that his clinic is part of our medical group.
