Dr Celina Iwasa is a dedicated dermatologist originally from São Paulo, Brazil. She obtained her medical degree from the University of São Paulo (USP) in 2003 and completed her dermatology training at Hospital Ipiranga in 2010, where she also earned her specialist title from the Brazilian Society of Dermatology. Fluent in both Portuguese and English, she has brought her international experience to the UK, where she continues to focus on delivering high-quality, compassionate care.

With extensive experience in private clinics and hospitals, including Hospital São Camilo and Hospital Ipiranga, Dr Iwasa has treated patients of all ages. Her clinical interests include common and complex skin conditions such as acne, psoriasis, rosacea, and atopic dermatitis, as well as hair and nail disorders like alopecia areata and onychomycosis.

Known for her empathetic and individualised approach, Dr Iwasa takes the time to listen carefully to each patient’s concerns. She believes in combining medical expertise with a human touch, understanding that each patient’s journey is unique. A member of the General Medical Council (GMC), British Medical Association (BMA), and the International Dermoscopy Society (IDS), she remains committed to continuous learning and professional growth in the UK, regularly attending specialist courses to enhance her practice.
