Lisete Pinzon

Pinzon offers adult patients individual psychological care but also specialises in orientation at parents and guardians in London, including psychological support them when children and teenagers have mental health challenges or social vulnerability issues. This means Pinzon provides help for victims of bullying, relationship problems, low self-esteem, depression, anxiety and substance misuse, for example.

As she speaks both Spanish and Portuguese, Pinzon provides valuable psychological and emotional well-being support for London’s Brazilian, Spanish and Portuguese communities. Including assistance with immigration adaption.

Pinzon’s initial degree in Psychology (2003) was from Universidade Luterana do Brasil in her birth country Brazil. She received a Postgraduate Degree in Neuropsychology (2007) from the same University, and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology (2012) from Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos also in Brazil.

Her prestigious career in Brazil – and more recently London – has included authoring several books and academic papers on her specialism. She has also leant her considerable knowledge to both speaking engagements and volunteer projects, including those helping female victims of violence and domestic abuse.

Pinzon is a Chartered Member of the British Psychological Society and an exponent of the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach to improved mental health.
