Dr Nele Dumpert is a highly skilled and compassionate Gynaecologist. She was born in Frankfurt/Main, Germany. Driven by a profound experience during a year in Africa, volunteering at a rural Zimbabwean hospital, where she assisted in deliveries and cared for pregnant women, she discovered a passion for Gynaecology that shaped her professional career.

Devoted to women’s health, Dr Dumpert embarked on her professional journey, qualifying as a doctor at Christian-Albrechts-University in Kiel, Germany. She commenced her training in obstetrics and gynaecology in 2005 and achieved full qualification as a Gynaecologist in 2011. Her professional journey has taken her across different healthcare settings in Germany, Switzerland, Australia, Luxembourg, and the UK, encompassing both NHS and private hospitals and clinics.

Working in a holistic way, Dr Dumpert focuses on hormonal conditions, offering comprehensive care for issues such as period irregularities, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), perimenopause/menopause, hormonal acne, pre-menstrual syndrome (PMS) and endometriosis. Her approach combines dietary guidance, lifestyle changes, supplements and prescription medications, including body-identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT). Additionally, Dr Dumpert provides early pregnancy care including ultrasound scans, contraceptive advice and performs procedures such as the insertion and removal of contraceptive implants and coils (IUDs).

Dr Dumpert finds motivation in witnessing patients becoming empowered, healthy, and confident in their bodies. Having personally experienced the challenges of miscarriage, she knows the value of personalised early pregnancy care and pre-pregnancy counselling, aiming to support individuals on their unique reproductive journeys.

A distinguished member of various healthcare organizations, including FSRH, FEMM Health, NFPTA, BMS, and BSCCP, Dr Dumpert received the Oxleas Excellence in Medical Education Award in 2022, showcasing her dedication to medical education.

Dr Dumpert holds a substantive NHS Consultant post at Oxleas NHS Trust and works additionally as a Consultant in Colposcopy at Homerton Hospital.

On a personal note, Dr Dumpert cherishes time spent in nature, enjoys gardening, relishes cooking and values moments with friends and family. With a passion for drawing, she balances professional excellence with personal interests. Married with three young children, Dr Dumpert embodies a holistic approach to life both within and outside the medical realm.
